Sid Severe Torture are one of the few bands that have not disappointed and have consistently released quality material. The songwriting gets slightly more complex with each subsequent release, but Severe Torture still retains the melodic tremolo guitar style they are known for since the release of Feasting on Blood.

Sound production is excellent.

Highly recommended for fans of Broken Hope, Cannibal Corpse, and Supreme Pain.

No new conceptual features, they're simply built from the classic variations that have come before, but with a few subtle, modern touches that push them into an elite echelon of spiked knuckles - wait, I'm actually talking about the band! So anyway, torn from the jaws of death, that's gotta be a... good thing? Favorite track: Torn From The Jaws Of Death.

ruins I got this based on the art and the description about the psychosis of murder and all those delish things and I deliberately did not listen to any of it because I figured it'd be more fun to go in without knowing. Damn. Great choice. There's a very 90s DM vibe in that it's brutal but also melodic enough that every note is memorable. But the songs, production and the absolute sonic blitzkrieg it unleashes are right fucking now. Buy *AND* Die.
