The recording quality is world class. The guitar distortion is intense and chord combinations, damn. Dark Fortress, Witchery, Pantera, Mastodon meets extreme Black. Favorite track: Again.

Ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas écouté un disque en boucle. A chaque écoute, on découvre un nouveau détail : un break de batterie, un riff de basse bien trouvé, un riff de guitare caché. Les mélodies sont terriblement diaboliques et le jeu entre les guitares est très intéressant.
Il y a aussi beaucoup de changements ternaire/binaire qui sont super bien trouvés. Je retrouve ce que j'aime dans le BM : la transe, avec des riffs qui se répètent encore et encore, avec des modulations.
Le son est génial : gros son mais fidèle à l'esprit black, basse surprenante sur certains riffs. La pochette est magnifique, ce qui n'enlève rien.
J'aime bien le fait que ça blaste pas tout le long : il y a pour moi une très grande diversité rythmique, c'est aéré et bien pensé, avec même des passages carrément groovy.
Bref, pour le prix d'une pizza dégueulasse ou d'un paquet de clopes, vous avez là un disque remarquable.

An excellent release that significantly improved from their previous albums. Blood Incantation's Hidden History of the Human Race sounds like Covenant-era Morbid Angel, Death, Brutality, Afterbirth, Lykathea Aflame, Atheist, and Cynic had a child. I really enjoy Blood Incantation's lyrical themes, while their name would make one presume they're about the occult or played-out satanic crap, they take a deep dive into the unknown of the cosmos and extraterrestrial beings. Excellent work!
