OMEGA INFINITY: two words that embody the unimaginable blackness beyond the known universe, the endless cycle of birth and death, of creation and destruction.
Members Tentakel P. (TODTGELICHTER) and Xen (NE OBLIVISCARIS) have created something very different and drastically darker than their respective main bands.
Music firmly rooted and inspired by first wave black metal with furious blastbeats and cacophonous, spherical guitar lines, the main concept and lyrics transcend the limitations of this style.
OMEGA INFINITY stands for something that is far greater, ancient or powerful than any god or demon humanity has invented; the darkness between galaxies - the equivalent of cosmic darkness – the Nothing beyond existence - The Deep Dark Void.

Ne Obliviscaris quickly became my favorite metal band and probably my favorite band actively making music. Equus is an absolute banger of an opener. Saw them live in the US finally last year too.

In its attempt to convey the diabolical horror of this album, my amplifier collapsed into a singularity and began accreting nearby buildings along with their screaming inhabitants. I cannot stop it. It will destroy us all. Anyway, please enjoy this album as you await your doom. (Sorry about that.)

The first album is already a very good one, but the second is even better! It contains again nature black metal, quite melodic, but also wild, with some folkloristic elements, full of atmosphere and performed with passion. For me, BLACKBRAID fits well into the same category as other epic one man bands like Saor, Ruadh or Pure Wrath. Besides the catchy and quite straight opener "The Spirit returns", I mention the mightiest track "Moss covered Bones on the Altar of the Moon" as my favourite song!

Even better than the first album, Woe offers a wonderful music with interesting and varied approaches to extreme metal. When you spin the record, you are greeted with a lovely yet melancholic soundscape that quickly turns into technical and furious brutality. However, throughout the whole album, the musicians never lose the thread of atmospheric and progressive music, leaving enough room for contemplative or surprising parts - and proving that they haven't run out of creative ideas.
